Man City beat Chelsea in race to defend Premier League title

Manchester City took the lead in the first 45 minutes thanks to a great goal netted by Erling Haaland. The Blues were unable to hit back in the first half. And so were they in the second period as Maresca's men are having the same finishing problems as last season despite a new coach and system of play. Kovacic made it two for his current team with a superb shot from the edge of the box after a spectacular control by the Croatian.
