Manchester City, who signed Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland during the summer transfer window, will try to sign Josko Gvardiol in January.
According to 'Sport', Guardiola's side are preparing an offer of around 126 million euros for the Croatian centre-back from RB Leipzig. However, the English side are not sure which player they will do without in order to sign for him.
Manchester City had not planned to make an offer like this. However, the English club have raised the bidding considerably in the face of the interest shown by clubs with the economic power of Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Gvardiol joined the German club in July 2021 from Dinamo Zagreb for 19 million euros. If RB Leipzig were to accept the offer, the German club would make a profit of 107 million euros from his sale.
