Oscar Bobb still has three years left on his contract with Manchester City, but according to The Mirror, the Skyblues are already considering a long-term deal for the 20-year-old gem that would tie him to the club until 2029.
His current contract is £12,000 a week and this could be trebled to £36,000 a week on promotion to the first team. Guardiola rates the winger highly and believes he can follow in the footsteps of Manchester City youth players such as Foden and Lewis.
Oscar Bobb's development, who has even made his senior debut for Norway alongside team-mate Erling Haaland, allowed Guardiola's side to let Cole Palmer leave for Chelsea this summer. This season Bobb has played in five games for Man City and started against Newcastle in the EFL Cup.
“Oscar was more than brilliant in all parts, offence and defence. He’s played as a number 10, as a striker, as a winger. We know in the pockets in the middle he moves really well. His intensity is good, he works without the ball," Guardiola said of Bobb's first start.
