Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes was included in Fernando Diniz's squad for Brazil's World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.
The Cityzens goalkeeper has been forced to withdraw from Brazil's training camp after apparently injuring his left foot in the last Premier League match against Chelsea, which ended in a 4-4 draw.
Ederson is an undisputed starter for the Sky Blues and is a key member of Diniz's Brazil squad. Brazilian Serie A Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento Matheus Krepski has reportedly been selected to replace the Manchester City keeper.
Bento will join Liverpool's Allison and Botafogo's Lucas Perri as reinforcements for the Brazilian goalkeeper. South America offers six direct places to the World Cup. Brazil are currently third in the competition, behind Argentina and Uruguay.
