Bruno Fernandes is the visible face of Manchester United and will remain so for at least three more seasons. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player and club have agreed to extend his contract.
The new contract will be for three more seasons, i.e. until June 2027, with the option to extend it for an additional season, until the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
This would also make him the highest-paid player in the Red Devils' squad and a blow on the table to establish the project led, at the moment, by Erik ten Hag.
The Mancunian club intend to finalise all the details before the end of the transfer window, although as it is a renewal, they are not obliged to do so.
