Man United going for Ansu Fati after De Jong disappointment

Even though his role at Barcelona has become somewhat of secondary importance for Xavi, Ansu Fati has still got plenty of clubs after him. Since he recovered frm his injury, he has not played the same role.
The footballer is not shining as before when the boss includes him in the starting eleven. Therefore, the manager has opted to drop him as a wake-up call, just like this Wednesday's clash with Real Betis. The striker barely played 10 minutes.
According to 'Sport', Manchester United are thought to have asked about the Spaniard ahead of the next transfer window. As they did with Frenkie de Jong, the 'Red Devils' are going to try again for another Barcelona player. This time, it is Ansu Fati.
For now, the Catalan side are certain what their stance on the matter is. They do not want to listen to offers for Ansu Fati, even though they know that interest will rise in the next few months, and it could become a deal in the summer.
Under contract until 2027 and with a buy-out clause of €1 billion, as well as inheriting the number 10 shirt from Messi when he went to PSG, the player is one of Barcelona's big unknowns. Gavi and Pedri, younger than Ansu Fati, are other talents that Barcelona have offered new contracts to recently to avoid them going to another big side.
