Manchester United must turn their fortunes around if they are to avoid the sacking of Erik ten Hag, which looks increasingly likely. The Red Devils have made a poor start to the campaign, which is coupled with their worst Premier League campaign in history last season.
The Mancunians have also suffered back-to-back defeats after being held to a draw at Old Trafford by Twente in their opening game of the competition and then being destroyed by Tottenham in their last domestic game.
The Old Trafford outfit must get back to winning ways after three games without a win to give Erik ten Hag, who has been in the spotlight for his team's inconsistent performances, a breath of fresh air.
Man United, who have already announced their 23-man travelling squad, face a stern test when they visit Porto in the second round of the Europa League.
