Man Utd keep pushing for Branthwaite transfer

Manchester United are expected to reshape their squad in the summer transfer window following the arrival of the club's new co-owner Jim Ratcliffe at Old Trafford.
In defence, the Red Devils are set to sign a centre-back as a priority due to the injury problems they have suffered this campaign. Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite is the board's choice to reinforce United's defensive line. However, he has many suitors interested in his services.
For this reason, the Toffees are not willing to accept less than 70 million pounds for his transfer next summer. His value is set not only by his current club but also by his national team. The 21-year-old has been called up by England manager Gareth Southgate for Euro 2024.
A number of other clubs such as Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the English centre-back but the Red Devils will be keen to negotiate his transfer as soon as possible.
