The arrival of Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid has been the main news on the transfer window. The French star will be presented in the next few days with his new team and, although all the media spotlight is on him, the 'Merengue' board is still working on new reinforcements.
Nacho's departure to Saudi Arabia means that finding a centre-back has become a priority. The defender who has been in the spotlight in recent days is Leny Yoro, who plays for Lille and is one of the most promising young players in French football.
However, that is not the only offer on the table for the player. 'Sky Sports' reports that Manchester United and Lille have already reached an agreement for the operation to take place, for an amount of around 50 million euros.
The player, though, is clear that he prefers to wait for Real Madrid. Los Blancos are not going to do anything crazy financially speaking and they do not rule out waiting until the summer of 2025, when Yoro's contract with his current club expires. However, the next few days will be key in order to know the outcome of the operation.
