Rasmus Hojlund is Manchester United's prime target after signing Andre Onana and Mason Mount. They want to strengthen their attack as soon as possible.
However, negotiations for his services are not going as well as expected as Atalanta do not want to let their gem leave for less than £86 million. But the Red Devils are not willing to pay more than £60 million for him.
As a result, according to the 'Mirror', Erik ten Hag's side have a plan B. They will turn their attention to Ajax playmaker Mohammed Kudus if they fail to sign the Danish striker.
The Ghanaian's versatility could see him play in midfield, on the flanks and even up front. Chelsea are also keeping an eye on the 22-year-old as they want to sign him to bolster their midfield following the departures of Mateo Kovacic and N'Golo Kante, among others.
