Several reports claimed that Inter Milan rejected Manchester United's opening bid for Andre Onana. Erik ten Hag's side reportedly offered £34 million for him. However, they are not giving up.
The Red Devils will submit an improved second bid for the Cameroonian goalkeeper to replace David de Gea, who has left Old Trafford after 12 years with the English club.
Finding a new goalkeeper is United's top priority and they will try to sign the 27-year-old at all costs even though his transfer could cause them problems with Financial Fair Play.
United will offer £38.5 million to secure his services next season, according to 'Sky Sports'. Inter have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sell the goalkeeper for that amount but nothing is in writing yet.
