Manchester United debuted their third signing of the summer ahead of their friendly against Ligue 1 side RC Lens. Striker Rasmus Hojlund walked out at the Stretford End at Old Trafford, greeted by the cheers and applause of over 70,000 fans.
The Dane arrives from Atalanta, costing the Red Devils a reported £72 million. He will not feature in the match against Lens, and walked back into the players' tunnel following his lap around the pitch.
He reportedly sustained a minor injury in pre-season with the Italian side, and is not yet ready to play, with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting it could be a few weeks before he reaches match fitness.
A tall, blonde Scandinavian striker, he arrives in the Premier League just one year after Erling Haaland landed at Manchester City, and many are already drawing comparisons between the two soon-to-be rivals.
They will meet for the first time in the Manchester derby, which will see them face off at Old Trafford, on October 28th and there's no doubt all eyes will be on the two stars.
