Man United are preparing like the rest of them ahead of their second season under manager Erik ten Hag. Saturday saw the club's international players return to the training ground, after being granted extra days of holiday following European Qualifiers and friendly matches.
The famous faces included club captain Harry Maguire, whose future with the side remains an unknown, Portugal's Bruno Fernandes, England's Marcus Rashford and Brazil's Casemiro, among others.
The Red Devils are preparing for their second pre-season match against Lyon in Edinburgh, on Wednesday 19th July. Ten Hag admitted however he may not include the latest arrivals in the squad for the clash.
"Those players, most of them will not show up in Edinburgh, as well, because they need time and to have a good training week," he said. "They had to have days off and relaxation. Those players played most games in the last season, so they needed that rest".
The Manchester club is also using the pre-season to play four Tour matches in the USA, against giants Real Madrid and old rivals Arsenal, ahead of the start of the 2023-24 season.
