Donny van de Beek is back in action. The Dutch midfielder scored the opener in Manchester United's friendly against Olympique Lyonnais at Murrayfield Stadium.
The 26-year-old missed most of last season due to a knee injury but showed his potential in Tuesday's friendly against the French side. He spoke to the press after the match and said his future is uncertain.
"For now it's hard to say where my future is. I could stay but it's also a possibility that I move, so everything is open. I'm focussing on getting as fit as possible and pushing on," he said.
"In football you never know, especially for me. I've been linked with so many clubs... but I'm not focusing on that. I'm proud to wear this shirt and I realise that every day. Let's see what happens."
Moreover, Van de Beek spoke about Andre Onana's imminent move to Old Trafford. "He's a great goalkeeper, I play with him for many years. He's a great personality. He's good with his feet, good on the line so my expectations are high. He's a top-class goalkeeper."
