Sadio Mane is on the verge of finalising his departure from Bayern Munich, as several outlets report that he travelled to Dubai to undergo a medical for Saudi side, Al-Nassr.
The Senegalese winger had a rollercoaster season with the German champions, battling injuries and locker room disputes, which meant that both parties were looking for an out.
It came in the form of Al-Nassr who, funded by the Saudi backed Public Investment Fund, have been making huge purchases from Europe's top leagues, following the arrival in December 2022 of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mane is expected to join the side on a four-year deal, which will see him earn almost €40 million-a-season. Despite his difficulties in the Bundesliga, he said to Florian Pettenberg of 'Sky Germany' that he "wished for a different ending" with the club.
"I know that I could have helped the team this season. I wanted to prove it to everyone this season. Nevertheless, I only wish the club and the fans the best for the future“, he declared.
