Marc Guiu misses open goal in Servette win

Marc Guiu did not get off to a good start at Chelsea. The Barcelona striker failed to capitalise on the clearest chance of his career against Servette in the first leg of the Conference League qualifying final.
With the score at 1-0, the No. 38 stole the ball from Jeremy Frick outside the box. In the 51st minute, his own challenge left him with the ball in front of an open goal and Stamford Bridge celebrating to make it 2-0.
Marc Guiu's shot was blocked by the goalkeeper, as was the rebound that the new Blue player struck first-time to make a fool of himself.
At the third attempt, a defender and the goalkeeper's own reaction denied him a goal. It was one of the failures of the season, although Chelsea managed to beat Servette 2-0 with goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke.
