Marcos Alonso addresses his future: "There will be news soon"

Marcos Alonso, who until just a few days ago was a Barcelona player, is still not sure which club he will play for next season, as he told 'EFE' on Tuesday in Marbella. "I'm still deciding and I don't know where I will play next year, although there will be news soon," explained the player from Madrid, who joined Barcelona in 2022 from Chelsea and did not want to comment on his preferences.
In London, Marcos Alonso managed to win, among other titles, a Champions League and a Premier League; however, his performance at Barcelona has been quite irregular since his arrival. Although in his first year at the Catalan club, he had more prominence on the pitch, injuries have not allowed him to play at the highest level this past season.
Alonso is now on holiday and, in Marbella, a city for which he has a special affection and to which he used to travel with his family as a child, he has taken part in a charity paddle tennis tournament with the popular American actress Eva Longoria, the host of the event.
"It is something that Eva has been doing for a long time. It's always a pleasure to help and if it's also playing padel with friends, even better", she said about the tournament, part of the proceeds of which will go to the Global Gift Casa Angeles Foundation project.
