Manchester United won their friendly match against Betis (3-2), but they picked up another piece of bad news with the injury of Marcus Rashford. He is not the first Red Devils player to be injured this pre-season. Previously Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund have picked up long-term injuries.

It has not been an easy pre-season for Erik ten Hag, who is seeing several important players out injured with just a few days to go before the official games. Several players have already been affected in various positions with just over a week to go until the Community Shield title game against Manchester City on 10th August.
The latest to fall is Marcus Rashford. The Englishman had scored United's 1-1 draw against Betis, who had taken the lead earlier through Iker Losada, but the Briton was forced off in the second half, in the 62nd minute, with an injury. There were no obvious signs of pain, but there were signs of concern for the player.
In the final stretch of the match, Antony was also substituted, presumably also due to physical problems. Two new cases that join Manchester United's injury list. Antony and Rashford are still awaiting tests.
Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund have undergone tests. The French centre-back will be out for at least three months as the injury is more complicated than expected. The Danish striker will be out for six weeks and Ten Hag's problems are piling up.
