Enzo Maresca was delighted with the performance of his players in Chelsea's Premier League win over West Ham last weekend. The Italian coach praised Nicolas Jackson who scored a brace and also Cole Palmer who scored the third to seal the Blues' victory.
But the former Leicester boss not only had words for both players who made the headlines, he also praised the performances of Moises Caicedo and new signing Jadon Sancho.
"He is top. His performance yesterday was very good, but since we started Moi has been fantastic and yesterday once again he was top," said Maresca. "Jadon did well, it was exactly what we were expecting from him," added the Italian boss.
Chelsea kept a clean sheet for the second game in a row with a fine performance from Robert Sanchez which also earned him praise from his manager.
"I am happy for Robert, for the defence, for all the team, because probably the reason we had a clean sheet on Saturday is because Nicolas and Cole pressed very high and very good. Overall it was a good performance from all of them."
