Mason Greenwood says goodbye for good to Manchester United after the club agreed a permanent transfer deal with Olympique Marseille for 30 million euros.
The English winger, who was back to his best last season when on loan at Getafe, was not in Erik ten Hag's plans and has therefore decided to continue his career in Ligue 1 under Roberto De Zerbi, who was recently announced as the French side's new coach.
Greenwood will sign a contract until 2029 with his new club, and the Red Devils will keep a sell-on clause of close to 50% of a future sale between June 2025 and June 2029, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
In addition, the Italian journalist has also reported that Olympique Marseille are prepared to book the medical for the young English talent once they have made formal arrangements.
