Marseille crash at Auxerre in Ligue 1

Marseille came back to earth with a bump after last week's 5-1 thumping of Saint-Etienne, crashing to a 3-0 defeat at Auxerre. The loss left south-coast giants Marseille second on 46 points, putting them 10 points behind Paris Saint-Germain with 11 games remaining
Gaetan Perrin opened the scoring in the 34th minute as he curled into the top corner from Hamed Traore's assist. Brazilian captain Jubal netted the second in the 77th minute from the spot before bagging his second in stoppage time.
The victory lifted Auxerre to 10th with 28 points. Scuffles between rival supporters before kick-off left 14 individuals injured, two requiring hospital treatment, local authorities told 'AFP'.
Elsewhere Saint-Etienne drew 3-3 with Angers. On Sunday leaders PSG go in search of their 18th win of the season at Lyon where victory will take them 13 points clear of Roberto de Zerbi's side.
