Several teams have waited until the last day to make their signings. Although everything pointed to the fact that there would be no big movements, in the last few hours everything accelerated and several bombshells were closed.
One of them was Vitinha, who arrived at Olympique Marseille in a record transfer deal. The Portuguese striker became the French side's most expensive signing, while it was also the Portuguese side's highest ever sale.
The striker has signed for four and a half seasons, i.e. until June 2027. Although the French club have not made the transfer fee official, several media reports suggest that the deal is worth around 32 million euros.
Vitinha, at 22 years of age, has proved his goalscoring ability at Sporting Braga. In the first half of the season, the Portuguese has played a total of 27 games, starting 21 of them. He has also found the net 13 times and has provided three assists.
