'Maybe Mo knows about 115 charges' - Slot on Salah's Man City comments
Liverpool manager Arne Slot was asked at the pre-match press conference ahead of Premier League match against Newcastle about Salah's comments that he could have played his last game at Anfield against City. The Dutchman said the Egyptian may not expect the Cityzens to be in the competition next season because of the 115 charges they face and that it was a ‘joke’.

Mohamed Salah made headlines in English football when he said he could have played his last game at Anfield against Manchester City after the Reds' 2-0 win over the Sky Blues, adding to rumours of his exit at the end of the season.
However, Arne Slot was keen to play down those comments at the Reds‘ pre-match press conference ahead of the Reds’ Premier League clash with Newcastle, taking the opportunity to take a dig at the Cityzens and the 115 charges they face.
The Dutch coach made it clear that it was a joke and that he is not the one to talk about the Liveprool star's contractual situation. "Maybe Mo knows more about the 115 acquisitions [charges] that are done, so he expects them not to be in the Premier League next season," he said.
"This is not the place for me to speak about Mo's contract. Maybe I've said too much already about the joke I've just made. So that will probably get the headlines, but it was a joke, I repeat it was a joke," he concluded.
