Jurrien Timber joined Arsenal almost a month ago. The 22-year-old became the Gunners' second signing of the summer transfer window and both Mikel Arteta and the board have high expectations of him.
The Dutch defender has already played his first minutes for his new club. His last appearance was in Arsenal's 5-4 penalty shoot-out win over Monaco as he replaced Gabriel Magalhaes in the 62nd minute.
Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is also part of Mikel Arteta's defence, spoke about the Dutchman's potential and compared himself to him in an interview for his team's current press.
"Maybe he is [similar], but maybe better than me. I'm sure he is 100 per cent going to show us what he can do, and will really help us. I do know about him because I watched him and followed the way he played at Ajax," he began.
"Also, I played against him for the national team so I know about him as a player, what amazing qualities he has, and now I know him off the pitch. He's a great guy, another incredible signing for Arsenal who will help us a lot," the Ukrainian concluded.
