"Mbappe betrayed us all season long"

Former PSG player Jerome Rothen, contributor to ‘RMC Sport’, reacted to the signing of Kylian Mbappe by Real Madrid and complained about his bad attitude towards his teammates, the club and the country during the season: "He betrayed us".
Rothen criticised Mbappe about his behaviour this season: "For the last five months, when Kylian doesn't make enough effort, it's not a problem of the coach, of the directors, of the president, of the fans... It's just a problem of respect. When you put yourself in the category of the best players in the world, you have to have the attitude that goes with it."
These statements come after the Bondy-born player's good performance against Luxembourg. The Frenchman scored a goal and provided two assists. The former PSG man said that Mbappe's disposition in the friendly had not been seen all season with PSG.
"The season was catastrophic from start to finish in terms of image and communication. I blame him enormously because, when I see him in the French national team, it's impossible for me," he concluded.
