Although Kylian Mbappe is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain for next season, barring another last-minute change of heart, he is still giving his all in the present. Goncalo Ramos, ahead of Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund-PSG in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, has identified him as one of the great leaders in the dressing room. Indeed, in his opinion, he is the one who raises his voice the loudest to motivate the squad.
"Kylian Mbappe is the player who talks the most in the dressing room, along with Marquinhos and Danilo Pereira. He helps us to build confidence. We know what we have to do to face this challenge - referring to the match against the Germans," said the Portuguese, who appeared before reporters alongside Luis Enrique. The Spanish boss focused on a more general level and celebrated the youth of his team.
"I think we are confident, we are doing a great job this season. We are ready for anything. I work every day to be a starter, although I'm ready in case I come off the bench. We are a family. When we played here last time, we weren't all available; now we are. Referring to the previous meetings with the Germans, he admitted that it will be key to remember what was learnt there.
"We know them very well, we played them twice this season. We are calm, and confident as in every game this season. We are ready. Many of us know this stadium: it's special to play here. If we want to be on the big stages, we have to play against the big teams in this kind of stadium," he said. After scoring and assisting against Le Havre as a substitute, he could be in the starting line-up.
