Lucas Vazquez, who started for Real Madrid in their friendly defeat against Milan, said that "it is a great motivation to be able to fight for those seven titles".
"A season in which we can play 72 games is going to be extremely demanding, I think it's a great motivation to be able to fight for those seven titles, we always set ourselves the challenge of going for everything," said Vazquez in the mixed zone.
"On a personal level, I am happy for the renewal because I am where I want to be. I want to improve on last season with more games, more goals, more assists, more defensive work. In football, you never stop learning," he added. Vazquez is preparing for his 10th season as a Madrid player and showed his excitement at welcoming Frenchman Kylian Mbappe.
"Mbappe is a world-class player, we are all looking forward to playing with him because, at Madrid, the best have to be there, of course," he said. He also reckoned the talented Brazilian Endrick, who is just 18, looks "very good". "Endrick looks very good, to be honest. In the last three training sessions, he's been doing well, he needs to adapt a little bit to the way we play, but he's got some amazing conditions, he's got an incredible start," he said.
