Barcelona are already in Paris to face PSG in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final. Kounde was the player in charge of speaking in the press room and giving the key points before the match kicks off at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
"I'm very excited. I'm really looking forward to it. The team is in a good momentum and I'm looking forward to playing here," he began. The defender referred to his compatriot Kylian Mbappe: "He's a player who makes the difference and we're going to try to stop him. PSG is a team that is much more than one player.
On the favourites: "You say who the favourites are. We are in a good momentum. Cubarsi has shown that he is very young and prepares very well. He is an example for all the youngsters in the academy. Like Lamine and Fermin he plays without pressure and they are ready," he continued.
Kounde also spoke about the pressure on PSG to win the Champions League: "It's not a question for me. I have no opinion on this."
