Mbappe under pressure after catastrophic Clasico defeat

Real Madrid have waited years and years for the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, who was supposed to be the messiah of the team's new football. However, the Frenchman has failed his first big test.
Barcelona went for it with a very high defensive line, as they did against Bayern Munich, and showed they have learned their lesson well. Time and time again, Ancelotti's players, especially the former PSG player, were caught offside.
Mbappe often found himself alone in front of Inaki Pena, but most of them to no avail as the linesman raised his flag. Up to 12 times in total, most of them by the Frenchman.
Mbappe could score a brace, but on both occasions, the goal was disallowed for offside. And, despite the risks, the understanding of the Catalans' defensive line allowed the Real Madrid player to repeatedly spring the trap.
The French star was also not at his best when he was one-on-one with Inaki Pena. The goalkeeper beat the striker, who missed several clear chances. The striker still has a long way to go to reach his best level.
