Kylian Mbappe has been at the centre of talk since joining 'Los Blancos', but not for the reasons he would've hoped. After being mounted with criticism, the Frenchman, who recently missed his second consecutive penalty, seems to have had enough as he is set to feature in the 'Canal+' program 'Clique' on Sunday to break his silence at last.
Ahead of its full release - 19:30 CET on Sunday, December 8 - 'Clique' posted a snippet of the interview via their socials on Friday evening. In the brief video, host Mouloud Achour asked the 25-year-old to comment on the backlash he has been recently receiving.
"When you're a star, if you don't speak, people will speak for you. Every day, something comes out about me, when in reality I haven't said anything to anyone I think that's why I'm doing this interview now. Because at some point, people need to hear it from me," Mbappe said.
Anticipation for Mbappe's interview is high, although it is unclear what he will talk about. Among many possible topics, the player is expected to discuss his absences from the France national team's recent call-ups as well as his struggles at Real Madrid.
