As was the case last summer, Kylian Mbappe's summer romance with Real Madrid is set to continue. Although the Paris Saint-Germain striker has already announced that he will not be extending his contract with his club, he will be out of contract in June 2024 and free to sign wherever he chooses.
As a result, the French side want to sell him in this summer transfer window but the France international refuses to leave. The striker wants to continue playing next campaign at the Parc des Princes.
According to 'Marca', the 24-year-old has made it clear to his current club that he will not leave Paris unless a club decides to pay more than 240 million euros for his transfer in the summer.
The same media outlet reports that the Spanish giants will not move for the French striker this summer as they prefer to wait for him to become a free agent after 2024.
Meanwhile, Galtier's side are in dire need of a boost, after losing important players like Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos, among others. The club will therefore put 200 million euros towards finding talent in the transfer market, according to 'Le Parisien'.
