Kylian Mbappe doesn't bite his tongue. When he doesn't like something, he automatically lashes out. The last time he expressed his displeasure was after learning that PSG used video and images of him for their season-ticket advertising campaign.
The '7' was the star of the French club's latest video and it didn't sit well with him. His mother, Fayza Lamari, revealed in 'Public Senat' that, before the player showed his discontent on social media, he called her.
"He called me and he was angry. I understood how he felt and I told him: ‘Right now, in the heat of the moment, is not the time to react, leave it for now and there will be time to ask for explanations later’. And he replied: ‘No, I don’t want to wait. I know what the consequences are and I will accept them," she said.
And he explained that he always asks her about things before dealing with these issues, although in the end his opinion takes precedence over that of his entourage, as in this case: “Kylian spoke from his heart in the heat of the moment, he was angry. He reacted like a kid who was born in the social media age. Everyone has their own way of communicating.
Fayza Lamari made it clear that when the video was made, no one explained the purpose. "We were warned about the recording of the images, but we didn't know what it was for," she said.
