Chelsea made their first contact with Julian Nagelsmann. The former Bayern Munich boss is well liked at Stamford Bridge and is one of the candidates to take over from Frank Lampard in the summer.
'The Times' reported that co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart represented the Blues at the meeting with the German coach. However, Stamford Bridge do not have a favourite for the dugout.
This means that Julian Nagelsmann is far from being Chelsea's only option. According to the aforementioned media, up to six other options are on Todd Boehly's list, and one of them is Luis Enrique.
The former Spain coach flew to London recently to learn first-hand about the Londoners' interest in signing him. Frank Lampard will finish the current season, in the transfer window it will be a different story.
