On Saturday evening, PSG could finally be crowned champions of France, after a complicated season. The Parisians head to Strasbourg for the 37th matchday of the season.
Although they have the advantage, Strasbourg are threatened with relegation. Frederic Antonetti's team have 39 points and sit 15th in Ligue 1. The two teams each need one point to reach their own goals: become champions and survive.
Ahead of the match, coach Frederic Antonetti spoke to the press. Out of all his opponents, he spoke about Leo Messi.
"He's Mister Football. He breathes football. It's true that he walks a little bit ... but even walking, he knows more about football than anyone", he stated.
Antonetti admitted that PSG is on another level, but he hopes to rise to the occasion. "When I look at this team, it's a real pleasure to watch them play. They're stronger than we are, we know that. We will play the match with no complaints", he commented.
Although salvation isn't technically guarenteed, the coach sees Strasbourg "in a favourable situation" as they are six points ahead of Nantes, the top team in the relegation zone.
