"Messi is the player any striker would dream of playing with"

Robert Lewandowski spoke to 'Mundo Deportivo' in an extensive interview and, amongst other things, he spoke about the PSG player Lionel Messi.
The Barca player says Argentine striker could be future Ballon d'Or winner: "There is one more footballer who plays for the same club who could maybe also win it, but there is only one World Cup that decides who will win this season. And Leo Messi is securely in the first position. Now he can enjoy it."
The Pole also admitted that he would love to play with him in the same team: "It's not up to me, of course. We see that now he plays more like a playmaker, maybe he scores less goals and gives more passes to his teammates. Now he's the player that any striker would dream of playing alongside him."
He also explained what he talked about with Messi in the controversial talk he had with him at the end of the match between Argentina and Poland at the World Cup in Qatar: "I can only say that it was a nice conversation. I don't want to explain what we talked about, but it was a delightful dialogue. I know that even after losing the first match against Saudi Arabia, Argentina were the favourites to win the title," Lewandowski concluded.
