Wednesday 18th January marks one month since Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar and the 'Albiceleste' players used the moment to express their feelings on social media.
Without going any further, one of the most moving messages was Leo Messi's, who wanted to remember the event and touch Argentines on Instagram.
"One month since the most beautiful thing in the world and I still can't believe it. What a beautiful madness we experienced during that time when we ended up lifting the trophy which we all wanted so much", the Argentinian star started by saying.
In the same line, he added: "Obviously, becoming champions makes everything even better, but what a lovely month I had, so many beautiful memories I have and miss. I miss my teammates, the daily routine with them, the 'mates' (a traditional Argentinian drink), chatting, training, the silly things we got up to...".
"It was amazing to see my family enjoying an unforgettable experience everyday and it was incredible going to the games and seeing the fans' craziness in the stands and back home.
Finally, Messi used the opportunity to thank God, just as he did throughout the tournament: "Thanks God for so much. Just like I said, I knew you were going to give it to me. What I couldn't imagine was what followed and it was worth it, because I could never have imagined people's madness in the celebrations that followed".
