Leo Messi's wife's family own a supermarket in Rosario, and it was shot at this Thursday morning, according to 'EFE', who reported that there was also a message directed at the Argentine star.
As well as the shots, there was also a message at the scene for the Argentina captain, who was named The Best recently: "Messi, we're waiting for you, Javkin (the Rosario President) is not going to protect you".
According to what was described, there were 14 shots on the Roccuzzo family building, located in the west of Rosario, where the player was born, just before 03:00am local time.
Most of the shots hit the metal shutters and it's thought the attackers got away on a motorbike.
First thing on Thursday, Javkin spoke to the media on-site and blamed the gangs and groups "who have weapons and those who have the power to investigate these crimes", who have to "protect" the Rosario inhabitants.
The PSG striker often goes back to his hometown to celebrate Christmas where he's got a house in a private estate. He also went there after Argentina won their third World Cup in 2022.
