Alejandro Garnacho has made no secret that his role model has always been Cristiano Ronaldo, which many fans don't like because he shares a dressing room with Lionel Messi in the Argentina national team.
However, the Manchester United winger makes no secret of his preference for the Portuguese striker. In fact, the 19-year-old is in the spotlight for his wonderstrike in his side's 3-0 Premier League win over Everton, which was netted in Nike's new Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired boots.
The Argentinian was reminded of the goal scored by Ronaldo for Real Madrid against Juventus in the Champions League. So much so that Garnacho celebrated his wonderstrike by imitating the Portuguese star.
Messi seems to have been unhappy with Garnacho's latest behaviour as he has unfollowed the young striker on social media, according to Rio Ferdinand on the 'Vibe with Five' podcast.
"Garnacho told me that Messi unfollowed him just because he makes no secret of preferring Ronaldo. He comes out, don't care, 'I'm a Ronaldo man'. Who's the GOAT? Ronaldo. (Even) when he's in the Argentina squad," the Manchester United legend said.
