Leo Messi returned to the Parc des Princes on Saturday where he was booed and clapped by some of the Paris Saint-Germain crown. The Argentine started the game but did not feature in any of the five goals.
The French coach spoke about him in the press conference after the game: "I spoke to Leo straight after he got back to see how he was feeling. He was fine, very motivated".
"There were whistles when he touched the ball. But a lot of the stadium drowned out these whistles with applause. He got into the game and carried out his role of creating chances for the team. He's used to it, his career has taken him to difficult situations. There was once again whistles and clapping", he explained.
With the win, PSG have got closer to the Ligue 1 title, and they could even win it this weeked. "Personally, I'm a very calm person and very focused. But we're not yet champions, we'll have to get the results. Lens won't give up and we're still within their reach. One wrong move can mean that, come the end of the season, you feel the pressure", he concluded.
