Paris Saint-Germain's Argentinian striker Lionel Messi won't be available for this Saturday's league clash against Monaco. The club said so in a medical report and Galtier also confirmed it in the pre-match press conference.
According to the doctors, Messi has is suffering a hamstring injury which he picked up the cup game against Marseille. "He'll be under care for 48 hours and it's planned he'll be back in training on Monday", PSG reported.
Before the Ligue 1 game, Galtier spoke to the media and was sorry for the Rosario man's absence in the domestic competition: "We know how important Leo is in our game. He's the one who creates chances and he's a goal-scorer. He's decisive. It's obvious that when you go to Monaco without him, it's a problem".
But he did give the fans some good news: they're expecting him to be there for the Champions League. "Leo Messi will be back at training on Monday, before the Bayern match, therefore you can get rid off the 'doubt' over him for the game", which helped clear up any doubts.
