Miguel Gutierrez and Yan Couto could reunite at Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund, finalists in last season's Champions League, are looking to strengthen their squad in order to have a campaign on a par with the previous one. The Germans have set their sights on full-backs with Miguel Gutierrez and Yan Couto, although, in the case of the Brazilian, they need to talk to Manchester City.

Miguel Gutierrez and Yan Couto completed an outstanding 2023-24 season with Girona under Michel. As a result, several European clubs have shown interest in them.
Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund, under the command of Nuri Sahin, want to repeat a campaign like the previous one, in which they managed to reach the Champions League final. The Germans are scouting the market and have set their sights on the Spaniard and the Brazilian to reinforce their full-backs.
The Madrid youth player has a contract with the Catalan side until June 2027 and a clause of 35 million euros, although the ‘Merengues’ could recover him for 8 million euros. The Bundesliga side have not yet made a formal proposal for the defender, who is currently training with the Spanish U-23 team for the Olympic Games in Paris.
For his part, the player from Curitiba ended his loan spell at Girona and returned to Manchester City, with whom he has a contract until June 2026. If the German side want him, they would have to negotiate with the Cityzens to reduce the 40 million that must be paid to release him.
Borussia Dortmund have targeted both Miguel Gutierrez and Yan Couto, but have yet to make a move for them. The option of both players crossing paths again is on the horizon, but they would swap Montilivi for Signal Iduna Park.
