Milan forward Pulisic out until 2025 with muscle tear

The 'Rossoneri' were hoping to start the week fresh after their 2-1 defeat against Atalanta on Friday, but Monday also bears bad news as Christian Pulisic is set to be out for the rest of the month. The 26-year-old was forced before half-time with injury and replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
According to 'the Athletic', a scan revealed that the USMNT forward suffered a tear to his calf muscle during his visit to the Bergamo side, though another check-up has been scheduled next week to confirm his condition.
With the December fixtures - against Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League and Genoa, Verona and Roma in Serie A - ruled out for Pulisic, the aim is to have him back fit for January 3 when Milan go up against Juventus in the semi-finals of the Suppercoppa Italiana.
Paulo Fonseca will be desperate to have his gem back to face the 'Bianconeri' in Riyadh. Pulisic has been crucial for Milan this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
