Mo Salah AGREES new Liverpool deal: reports

'The Mirror' dropped a bombshell in the early hours of Sunday as the Mohamed Salah Liverpool contract saga seems to be finally over. According to the source, the Egyptian star has agreed terms over a new deal, extending his stay at Anfield for two more years - until 2027.
Having entered the final six months of his contract, which expires in June 2025, Salah's future has been at the heart of speculation in recent weeks. The player has been continuously hinting that this year could be his last at the club as he admitted that he hadn't received any offer, thus making him "more out than in". Following Liverpool's triumph over rivals Man City last week, Salah made the situation even clearer, as he said: "Until now this is the last Man City game I will play for Liverpool".
With everything pointing towards an exit at the end of the season, rumours suggested Paris Saint-Germain or the Saudi League as possible destinations for the 32-year-old. However, against all odds, it now looks like we will continue to see him in the Liverpool outfit. Confirmation from the club will reportedly arrive "in the near future" after a "compromise" was found between Liverpool's chiefs and Salah's representatives.
Should things stay as reported by the British outlet, Mo Salah could reach 10 seasons at the 'Reds' by the end of his new contract. Already a Liverpool legend, Salah counts 370 appearances and 226 goals for the club, but the tally will surely increase if he stays. Having scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists in the 2024/25 campaign so far, the No. 11 is showing no signs of decline despite his age.
