Croatia star Luka Modric joined Real Madrid's pre-season squad on Saturday as he underwent his first training session in preparation for the 2024/25 campaign after passing his medical.
After a few days off after playing in Euro 2024, the veteran Croatian international attended the Real Madrid training complex, where he took part in a session in the gym and greeted coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The players available to the Italian coach completed their fifth training session of the week, first in the gym and then on the pitch. Modric thus joined the pre-season training session on the eve of the trip to the United States.
The Spanish side will head to the United States on Sunday, where they will spend the next few days until the early hours of 7 August. After their friendly against Chelsea, the squad will return to the Spanish capital to prepare for the European Super Cup.
