Modric out of action, awaiting medical tests

Real Madrid held a training session on Monday to prepare for their next Champions League match against Napoli, which takes place on Wednesday at 21.00 CET.
However, Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti was without midfielder Luka Modric, who had to be replaced in his side's 3-0 win over Cadiz in La Liga. The 38-year-old was forced off with a muscle soreness in the back of his left thigh. The Croatian is awaiting medical tests to determine the extent of his injury.
Brahim Diaz, who had to be replaced at the last minute by Rodrygo due to injury before the start of Sunday's game, was also unavailable to his coach. Meanwhile, Kepa Arrizabalaga trained individually both on the pitch and in the gym.
Madrid were dealt severe blows over the past fortnight with Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga suffering long-term injuries, joining Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and Aurelien Tchouameni on the sidelines.
