Modric won't budge for Bellingham

Despite the imminent signing of Jude Bellingham for Real Madrid, Luka Modric isn't planning on going anywhere. According to 'Carrusel Deportivo', he's not scared at all of the Englishman, and is planning to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.

Sebastian Kehl, CEO of Borussia Dortmund, recently spoke about Jude Bellingham's future. "Everything will become clear in the next few days", he stated, although many are already taking it as read that he will sign for Madrid. The Spanish giants are aiming to announce it before 15th June.
Bellingham is the kind of player Madrid are looking for to lead their next generation of players. But this doesn't worry Luka Modric at all. 'Carrusel Deportivo' reports that the Croatian is planning to stay with 'Los Blancos' regardless of what happens with the Englishman.
Modric's contract is up on the 30th June, but he will renew. At 37 years old, he still believes he can bring a lot to the side.
According to the same outlet, the midfielder received an offer from Qatar, but he turned it down, because he wants to stay in the Santiago Bernabeu. Although there was speculation of an offer from Saudi Arabia, it appears that one never arrived.
Regardless of the possible suitors following Modric, the footballer remains adament that his life is in Madrid. If Bellingham joins the team, he will be happy to share the locker room with the young newcomer, even if that means competing for his spot on the pitch.
