Horatiu Moldovan has been the last player to join, for the moment, the Atletico Madrid squad. The Romanian goalkeeper has yet to decide if he wants to continue or look for a new destination due to the lack of playing time.

While Atletico Madrid awaits defender Robin Le Normand and intensifies negotiations to sign striker Artem Dovbyk, coach Diego Simeone is recovering some players to add to the preseason; the last of them is goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan, pending to resolve his future in the Spanish team.
The Romanian international goalkeeper, signed in the winter transfer window after the departure of Ivo Grbic and still without minutes in the Madrid club, has already finished his vacations due to Romania's participation in Euro 2024, although he did not play in any of the four matches of his national team, which reached the round of 16.
Now, with just over five weeks to go before the market closes, he must decide whether or not to continue in the Madrid side, given the offers received by him, whose playing time at Atletico is more than limited by the undisputed starter Jan Oblak, who already joined the summer work on Monday, as well as defender Axel Witsel.
Meanwhile, Stefan Savic is expected to resolve his future in the coming hours with his signing for Turkish club Trabzonspor. The Montenegrin did not train with Atletico on Tuesday.
