Alvaro Morata has reappeared with the squad in training before travelling to Milan for the first leg of the Champions League last 16 tie against Inter Milan at the Giuseppe Meazza. According to 'COPE', the Spanish striker is not ruled out for Tuesday's showdown.
Morata suffered a knee injury in the La Liga game against Sevilla at the Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium. Following the medical report, it was expected that the striker would not miss the European Championship, but would miss the Champions League. The reality is that Morata seems to have shortened the timetable.
This season the Spaniard is being part of Cholo Simeone's starting line-up in most of the matches. In 33 games he has scored 19 goals and provided two assists.
The Argentinian coach could add a good reinforcement to his squad list. Gabriel Paulista could also be added to the list, although he has not trained with the group. Elsewhere, Azpilicueta and Lemar are not likely to be available.
