Alvaro Morata, who clashed with Vinicius after the international friendly between Spain and Brazil, denied that the origin of the fight was due to a gesture to the visitors' box. The striker spoke out on Instagram, where he was as terse as he was clear.

After the friendly between Spain and Brazil at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, there was a fight between the two benches in which Vinicius and Alvaro Morata stood out. In the following days, some media outlets and journalists conjectured that it all found its origin in a gesture from the Atletico Madrid striker to the 'Canarinha' VIP box, but he himself took it upon himself to deny it on his Instagram profile.
"Please, gentlemen of certain sports media, don't try to damage my image. No gesture to any box. Thank you," the player wrote in a story in which he included an image of himself in a Spain shirt.
The Spaniard had already generated controversy because the stands at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium whistled at him when Luis de la Fuente replaced him. The coach lamented this attitude from the fans in his post-match press conference, but it is not unique behaviour on the international stage.
Kylian Mbappe was whistled at the friendly against Chile at the Velodrome, the home stadium of Olympique Marseille, who, along with PSG, are the fierce rivalry of 'Le Classique' in Ligue 1.
