Matthijs De Ligt says he is happy with his move to the Red Devis because, as well as being one of the biggest clubs in the world, the Premier League attracts more viewers than the Bundesliga.

After an extremely poor performance against Bosnia in last night's Nations League match - which saw the Netherlands leading a 5-2 win - Matthijs De Ligt spoke to the microphones of 'Vandaag Inside'. As well as the match, the player was asked about his recent transfer to Manchester United from Bayern Munich - his move to Old Trafford was officially completed during this summer transfer window, costing United a fee of £60 million.
"I am happy with my move to Manchester United. Also because I stay in the picture. The Premier League has more viewers, the Bundesliga lesser," said the 26-year-old. While the defender has previously mentioned Erik Ten Hag as a pull factor that made his choice easier, he equally emphasised how the stakes that come with joining the Red Devils appealed to him.
"Erik ten Hag is not the only reason I joined Manchester United. We are talking about Manchester United here, maybe one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is a lot of pressure because the fans are used to things from the past. It is up to us to become as good as possible," he said to 'Vandaag Inside'.
While Manchester United's form has not been brilliant in recent matches - 1 win, 1 draw, 3 losses from the last 5 matches - Matthijs De Ligt is content with life at Old Trafford. "I am settled in Manchester, I enjoy myself. The boys are great, everything is handled perfectly. Many Dutch guys also in the staff".
